Warner Bros. Doesn’t Have the Power of Grayskull!

So, according to Variety, Warner Bros. and Mattel are parting ways on their Master of the Universe deal.  They’ve been trying to hammer out the details of a script for years now, and it looks like it’s just not going to happen.  Not at the WB, anyway.

From the way it sounds, the director, John Stevenson (Kung Fu Panda…really?) will stay with the project.  You know what they should do?  Revive Cannon Pictures and give them the rights!

  1. Wha? I didn’t say I didn’t love Kung Fu Panda. That movie is GREAT! I’m just surprised they chose that director to do He-Man. It doesn’t seem to fit, you know?

  2. Kung Fu Panda was an AWESOME movie. Easily 9/10 on the Awesome scale. Masters of the Universe was an incredibly bad movie. You’re no long allowed to talk about non-horror movies. I’m revoking your privileges.
