  1. Ah, someone beat me to it then. I was going to point out that it wasn’t Rhodey, too. I really wish they had just placed a “Four Years Ago” tag on there or something.
    The soundtracks that Michael Giacchino does are competent, but not memorable. I can’t think of a single one of his scores off the top of my head. His music is one of my biggest disappointments in the new Trek films. There’s nothing of the iconic sound to the scores.

    You’re the second person to mention this to me today. I completely missed the connection to Iron Man 2. I’m guessing because I hated that movie so much. Thanks for the feedback!

  3. Just a note on the Doctor Strange movie. The person mentioned with the spinal chord injury could have been the soldier injured by the Hammer Tech suit from Iron Man 2. That sets the movie a bit earlier in time, resolving the Civil War reference and also allowing enough time between the movie and the Thor mid-credit scene for Dr Strange to have become more competent / confident.

    Also, the soundtrack did sound pretty generic, except for the closing credits music, which was way trippy.
