Free Funnybook Day: Thor by JMS

By Odin’s Beard!

One of the most acclaimed runs on Marvel’s Thor title in recent years is the one written by J. Michael Straczynski, with art by Olivier Coipel, and Marku Djurdjevic.  Featuring Asgard  coming to Oklahoma, and Thor resurrecting his fallen brethren after Ragnarok, the stories presented by JMS and team still are having huge impacts on the Marvel Universe!

This contest is for the first TWO volumes of JMS’ run on Thor, collecting Thor #1-601 (there was a numbering change in there … you don’t actually get 601 comics).  Fantastic read!

How do you enter?  Well, in the talkback below, all you have to do is tell us, if you were an Asgardian god, what would you be god of?  Good luck!

  1. God of Speech so I can make everyone stop speaking in italics. Change Odin to speak in pure ghetto. Give Sif a lovely Irish accent. Make Loki talk in that click language from Africa.

  2. If I were an Asgardian god, I would proclaim myself to be the god of Knowledge. I would not advertise the fact that the knowledge consists of useless movie trivia, however.
