In our first episode, we decided on the type of game we wanted to play.  This time, we settle on characters.  Tim, Wayne and Jake pitch their Captain concepts while John helps sort them out.  Additionally, the departmental leadership is resolved. Knights of Reignsborough: Issue #2 – Funeral Masks, part 2

While the city pays its last respects, an outrageous assault is launched at St. John’s.  An explosion is detonated beneath the fallen hero’s coffin, fire erupts into the congregation and fleeing mourners are cut and stabbed.  It is left to four, new to the role of hero to protect the weak and bring the villains to justice!

Knights of Reignsborough: Issue 0.5 – Angel of Light, Doctor of Death

In Knights of Reignsborough Issue #0, we learned about Hair Trigger, Ricochet and The Coyote.  We learned where they were when Partisan died, what they did.  In this issue, we meet a young doctor whose bright future crumbles to dark knights in our fair city.  And we are ministered to by Father Dominic Argento, a cleric on the edge.

Countdown to Reignsborough: Character Sheets!

So as you’ll soon discover in the KNIGHTS OF REIGNSBOROUGH episodes that started today is that one of the delays was caused by switching from the old DC Heroes/Blood of Heroes system to a the more gameplay/actual play podcast friendly Savage Worlds rule system.  We’re big fans of Savage Worlds, and I think you’ll find that it makes for a much more interesting listening experience.

Of course, all of our character stats had to be redone using the Savage Worlds Explorer’s Edition, as well as the Super Powers Companion.  Check out the resulting character sheets below, as well as a blank character sheet to design a KOR character of your own (which will play into a contest coming up)!

Knights of Reignsborough: Sandbox Session 8 – Fear the Necropath

Remember how we said that Sandbox Session 7 was our final sandboxing session? Well, we went and got ourselves a new player, which means we needed one more turn in the sandbox.

In this episode, Andrew (aka New Jonathan) joins the team and we run him through character generation.

While the artwork and title reveal the ultimate choice, the joy is in the journey. So, join us as we mock Andrew’s ideas.
